TCA stands in solidarity with Asian American and Pacific Islander Students, Families, and Community

The tragic events in Atlanta do not go unrecognized by our school community. Twin Cities Academy stands in solidarity and support with our Asian American and Pacific Islander students, families, and community. These events again show us that we must continue to fight against racism, and misogyny, and that the hate and violence directed towards the Asian American and Pacific Islander communities must stop. We also recognize that the hateful rhetoric that has arisen due to COVID-19 is unacceptable.

Twin Cities Academy has made a commitment to social and racial justice. We recognize that we must continue to listen to each other and care for each other during these difficult times. Our school has created a space to gather in order to process the trial for the justice of Mr. George Floyd, and to process other acts of violence that harm our community. We believe Twin Cities Academy is a place where students, staff, families, and our community can give voice to their honest lived experiences.
